Happy Valentine's Day :)

Finally I have free time to update my blog. For the past 2 semester, was very busy for my internship and FYP. Time flies, and here comes my final semester in UTAR. It's kinda sad to think about it. Where am I going after this? KL? or Penang? Shit. It makes me headache every time I think about this.

Lacking of rest since I came back Kampar for CNY. Have to stay up late to rush my chapter 1 & 2. OMG I really hate doing FYP. Thank God my second examiner is a very nice lecturer - Mr Lee Eng Heng. I feel so relieved when I found out this good news! :D

My sister asked me yesterday night:"So... how you and shu celebrate Valentine's Day on this coming Tuesday?" Well, it's kinda sad that we have no time at all to think about it. :( I think the time we can have a proper celebration is the time after we graduate. Seriously, assignments, exams and FYP are killing me!!! T.T Not only Valentine. I dont think we will have time to celebrate our second year anniversary which is on March T.T

Nvm.... It's still another day rite? We still can celebrate it next year :')However, Dear dear already bought a Valentine's gift for me which is a beautiful long purse from Guy Laroche. Love it very much!! My sis bf also bought one for my sis as Valentine's gift too. LOL. I have to admit it that I choose this purse on impulse. My old purse is not even 1 year old which is my last year birthday pressie from Dear. Swt...

Besides that I got a new bag too!! :D Recently, I have been crazy after Longchamp bags like what others do. After trying a year of suppressing that impulse of buying it, I can resist it no more! :D This time I change my target from Longchamp Le Pliage to Longchamp Planete. Hehehe. Thanks to my friend Alfred who willing to get it for me from Taiwan. He has been searching for it around Taipei and all the longchamp boutique has run out of stock for medium short planetes. Five of the boutiques he went has no medium size planetes. Thank God before he leaves Taiwan, he found them in the airport. hahhahaha i was sooo HAPPY when he called and told me the good news! hehehehe. Not only me, my sis bought 1 too, same model same color. LOL. We have a lot of common stuff this year :D

This bag is a little bit different from le pliage. It is not foldable and the handle is less structured because they are made of smoother leather compare to le pliage. Planete also made of a thicker PVC coated weatherized nylon. It is much thicker than Pliage that makes the bag more rigid, has a smoother finish, where you do not see the fabric grains with no creases on the surface of the bag and the flap is made of cowhide leather. Of cause the main reason I choose Planete is because it does not look like a normal nylon recycle bag (what dear describe) and less people are using it :D These are all the lame excuses that I gave to convince myself ahahahaa.

It's time to say goodbye

Time flies...and it's time to say goodbye to popo, aunty, uncle and Tze Ying jie after my 1 week stay in Banting. =(

Aunty, thank you for the great great hospitality that you've offer to me all these time. I really enjoy the food that you've made for me! I gained weight recently due to all the good good food that aunty have prepared! Omg, i wonder will I still fit in the maxi dress that I've bought to wear it on my cousin wedding... sweat... Originally, I planned to start my "jian fei ji hua" during this week so that i will look good with the long dress but now...plan sudah failed XD

For uncle, thank you for giving me the consultation and medicine for free! Indeed, my skin feel less irritate and I do hope that the scar will go off soon =) I'm waiting for more of your jokes for the next visits here! XD

Then comes to the eldest in the family --popo. I think she is the coolest popo I ever met! Seriously, her memory is AWESOME!!! She know all the Super Junior member's names and other celebrity! I don't even know them =.= and the cutest part is she will randomly smack my piku or ask me some weird question eg. you naughtier or shu tze yuh naughtier?

Tze Ying jie! I cant wait to go over your place to stay over during next semester! Thank you for giving me your baby penguin and the penguin t shirt!! realli love it so so much!=) kakaa! really miss the time when we laugh over the dining table with uncle, aunty, xuan xuan, popo and ah boy! XD

I really enjoy myself in this 2 weeks; I will continue to enjoy the holidays back to Penang! SIS, BRO, PAPA & MAMA! I'm coming home! =)

I bought a Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in bare pink from Strawberrynet on 8th of May which is last 2 Saturday and it finally reach my doorstep this morning! Too bad, I'm not in Penang so I couldn't unbox and try it out today =( Have to wait until next monday so have to tahan little bit lar! XD

Since some of my friends commented that my previous Laura Mercier's lipstick in passion fruit is too frosty and look little bit pale on me, so I've decided to try out Bobbi Brown's Rich Lip Color in bare pink. This is more on matte color and it is not as shimmering as Laura Mercier lipstick in passion fruit. I've seen many many good reviews on it. Hope I won't regret buying this la! =)

Stage Cosmetics

I'm not sure whether u guys know about Stage's products... But for me...this is my first experience trying out their products! =)

As usual, I will meet up with my friends (Esther & Sin Yee) every time I'm back for my holidays. We usually will "yamcha" at e-Gate, but this time we've decided to change our usual meeting place to Queensbay's JCO! =)

"Oi! you know Stage having Sales now ar? Kia la, ki shopping lar!" said Esther >.< *have to spend $ again... at first i thought Stage's cosmetics are expensive as their interior gave it a very Professional feel, almost Mac-like. Don't be deceived by the appearance of the shop! The products are affordable and it is not as expensive as you imagine =)

We are in total shock when we start asking about the prices after the discount!

*i can't really recall the prices as the resit is not with me, so I can't tell u guys the exact amount, paise ar. =) For those who want to try their products, it's not too late! I think their sales will end on May 31!

For me, if there are no discount, I won't spend that much of money to try on their products as they are still very new in the market compare to MAC, Bobbi Brown and the others. Though the packaging stated all the products are made in France, Italy, Germany and etc but if I'm not wrong, it is a Malaysian Brand. But, Their products are manufactured from all around the world.

Let's see what I've purchased:

4) Picture Perfect Liquid Camouflage (03 Pixie Doll)

These are the things I've picked up to try out from the brand! =) The few things that stand out the most is the lip gloss(3) and the concealer(4). I really really love the lip gloss. It has a vanilla scent and it is not too sticky. I've read some reviews from other blogger on this products, some commented that Stage's lip gloss is better than MAC and other well established brand in the market! For me, I choose a very nude color to complement with my Bobbi brown rich lip color in Bare Pink which I've order from strawberrynet last week. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the texture and the color! =)

I'm using Body Shop stick concealer previously, so this is my first time using a liquid concealer. For this concealer, I'm very satisfied with the coverage. For your information, this concealer is super liquidy though, but I still love it as you can blend it out really quickly with a brush or your finger and then set it with translucent powder. As far as I know, Liquid concealer work best on dry skin compare to oily skin.

I won't make any comment on the lip liner because this is the 1st lip liner I've purchased and tried. I'm not very sure of it's performance compare to others but overall it did make my lip stick lasts longer. So, i'm ok with it. =) For the nail color, I don't really like it. It's like another Elianto nail color. I rather pay RM5 to get many colors in Elianto which is much cheaper compare to Stage's original price. Anyway, this is my point of view, the things that might not work for me not necessary will not work on you. =) Overall, it's worth for u guys to try their products out! =)

Just to add on one last important thing! You guys must try out their eyeliner! I've tried them over the counter and the staying power is AWESOME! I try to rub them off from my hands but it still stays on! I wanted to get it so badly but the product is out of stock T.T the lasting power is much much greater than my red earth eyeliner and much cheaper also after discount XD

For my friend, Esther, she is really crazy! She bought 4 lipsticks, 2 or 3 lipgloss, 2 eyeshadow and so on within an hour. I really can't remember what she has purchased because she just asks me to choose for her and then she will buy! In total, we exceeded RM200 and entitled to join in their loyalty program! Sweat.... For Sin Yee, she is the least crazy 1 compare to us. She just picked the liquid concealer that I've mentioned above. =)

Girls! If you feel tempted to try out their products after reading this, it is not too late yet as the sale will only end on May 31st if i'm not mistaken! So hurry up! Before the sale ends! =)

Scott Barnes Chic Palette & CK Eye Color Wash Review

Yes! I've finally receive my package yesterday! I've bought 2 Calvin Klein cream eyeshadow and 1 blusher with 3 tone from Scott Barnes. But today, I'm just going to blog about Scott Barnes blusher and if I have more time, I will blog about the cream eyeshadow someday.

I was so excited to receive them yesterday. There are 2 colors available which are Brandy Wine and Posh. Some reviews says that posh are more suitable for fair skin tone while Brandy Wine are more suitable for Asian skin / darker skin tone. So I decided to try the Brandy Wine! =)

At first, I was taken aback to found out the packaging for the Scott Barnes chic palette is so elegant and beautiful! Though it may be pricey, but you are getting 3 generously sized blushes in a sleek + chic compact, equipped with a mirror too. All the colors work very well together, and individually. AWESOME!

Some of you will wonder why there are 3 different colors in 1 palette. Well, you can combine 3 of them with brush and apply it on your cheeks and all over glow or you can apply them in separately in layers of soft radiance. The darker shade which is at the most left hand side is used to contours the hallows of the cheek or your cheek bone. The middle shade is for the apple of the cheek and the light shade is to highlight the height of the cheek, brows, forehead and chin. This will gives you a more natural glow on your face.

Overall, I really fall in love with this product. It is highly pigmented, and long lasting. I've tried to remove the color by rubbing it but the color still stays on. I would rate it 9 out of 10. Yes! I never regret of getting this from strawberrynet. I have never seen Scott Barnes products in any retail outlet in Malaysia yet so if you wanted to get it you can try to find them on strawberrynet or other sites. Just be careful when you shop online. I've realize there are many people selling the pirated one in a much lower price than the original 1. That's why I still stick to strawberrynet, so far, I don't find any problem purchasing from them. =)

Well....everytime I follow Shu balik kampung (BTG-the gangster town), I will end up pocket berlubang (I have no money...I need more money...LOL) Not BTG prob, there are not much things for me to shop in the town, but dear will normally bring me down to KL during weekends >.< Normally we will go to 1-U & Mid Valley as it is not as crowded as in KL. Hmm...That is where all my money goes to. T.T

Recently, I've found a website (www.strawberrynet.com) which you can find a wide range of 100% authentic branded perfumes, skin care, cosmetics and etc. The website is very reliable and trustworthy! I have purchase at least 8 items from them and I even recommended to my friends, sisters & cousins! the shipping fee for cosmetics and other non alcohol products are free of charge but u need to pay a small amount of charges on all alcohol products. They even convert to our currencies in RM instead of USD. If you're lucky, you can get great discount on selected items too. *I got my Laura Mercier's passion fruit lipstick on 50% discount & also the CalvinKlein translucent powder =)

Well, I have ordered 2 sets of Calvin Klein cream eyeshadow in diff tone and a Scott Barnes blusher in brandy wine last friday. The blusher has very great review (4.7 out of 5) so i decided to try it too. I hope they will arrive before i leave Kampar on this coming friday so I can try it out once i receive them! *All of them i got it in great deals =)

Hmm...that's all for now...maybe i should write another blog after i try out the products! I really looking forward to receive the products especially my blusher!

Night night everyone!

It's been ages since I last updated my blog. The last post is on April! Gosh! For 3 months I didn't wrote anything. Haiz...too busy for me to update it. Assignments and mid term tests are killing me!! I have 9 assingments and 5 tests in this semester. Finally today I finish my laspaper which is MRIP - Marketing Research In Practice.

Today, me & Shu went to watch Despicable 3D right after my test. I am very "sua ba" cause it's my first time watching 3D in cinema. I don't know he went to booked the 3D tickets online yesterday night. It's quite interesting, cause everything i see is like within my reachable distance! I'm like "WOW"... quite stupid huh? A 20 year old girl from Penang never watch a 3D movie in cinema before. XD

Anyway, we had a great time. We had our lunch in Shu's favorite fast food store - McD. I still prefer KFC though. =) Guess what? We bumped into Kelvin Wong and Jensen they all in McD. They are going for a marathon tomorrow morning in Ipoh. Recently, everyone is in the mood of jogging. Even Shu also crazy about it. He told me this everyday: "Dear, I think I'm going to start training like them and build up my body muscle." haha... anyway I still prefer you round and fat.

After that, we walked around the mall. Looking here and there. Checked out the latest ManU & Liverpool jersey, hunting for nice clothes in MNG but come out empty handed. Then I saw a MOG eyewear retail shop on 2nd floor having some sales. I walked around just for a while because the movie is starting soon. So, we decided to come back again after the movie to hunt for a pair of good sunglasses which I dun have in mind to buy before this.

The movie is good. We laugh out loud in the cinema and I think Shu enjoyed it too. Despicable is awesome! I love the yellow + banana + potato alien thingy! Sooooo CUTE!!! kakaka. The only thing i don't like is that pair of 3D glasses. 1st, the design is super ugly. 2nd, it makes me feel very uncomfortable. I should write in proposal to change the design one day! haha. Just joking.

After the movie, we went to ATM to draw out some money just in case I don't have enough cash to buy the sunglasses if I found 1. It's a long queue. A very very LONG 1. We waited and waited and finally it come to our turn, it is OUT OF SERVICE! Argh!!! All the people behind were disappointed too. But praise God, we found another ATM machine in the other end of the mall. XD

We spend alot of time trying thousand pairs of different design, brands, sizes of sunglasses. After we pick and choose, we finally scoped down to the final two options which suites me the most which are Levi's and Emporio Armani. But I decided to take Emporio Armani because it's much much more more comfortable than the Levi's 1. I seriously have to eat bread d after buying that exp pair of sunglasses. Hope it is worth it. =)

When we went back to Kampar, we went to eat Aunty Theresa nasi lemak. The best nasi lemak in Kampar! Me & Shu have decided to bring Kelvin Wong, Melissa, Belle, Shirley and the rest of CF people to try it one day! It's time for me to hangout with them again after quarantine myself for so long due to assignments and tests. Yeah! Finally I'm free! But still have assignments and some CF planning have to be done. But at least I feel much release now. I have done my best in this mid term. Last sem and early of this sem, I realize I have neglected my studies. I still remember what pastor told me. She said:"Don't neglect your studies because of busying serving. Remember the main purpose of God placing you here is to get your education." It's true. Do well in your study is a way to serve and Glorify the Lord. We have to make a balance in our life. So I decided after my tests, I wan to engage in CF more actively but with a balance. I pray that each day God will equipped me so I can serve Him in more ways. =)

I mean All of You!!! =) Things might goes wrong along the way, but I trust that God will draw us closer again!

Cousin & Me

Well, one week is over and now I'm back to quiet and peaceful Kampar again =) Have to say goodbye to my friends and my family and ready for all my assignments and test which is around the corner!

I miss my parents a lot...especially my mom... i think she wanted to cry this morning as she wave her hand when I leave the city... I really thank God that I can spend time with them and also with my friends...

Well, my relationship with my mom is very bad since I was young, I am very rebellious and it is a challenge for them to raise me up..=) I have flooded the whole house; kept a chick alive in the fridge; opened a bottle of wine which my dad had kept for more than 20 years and I just pour it into the sink; I pee in my enemy's kiwi juice and let her drink and etc...=) naughty huh?? anyway, I'm changed now by the grace of God! Though there is still long way to go for God to mould and change me so that I can serve Him in more ways!

During the holidays, I nearly every night spend my time with my friends in either in coffee bean or in starbucks... haha... I really hope I can have more time to listen and encourage them! To Esther... I really hope you can find back your passion for Him! I will always keep you in my prayer!!

Well, every night we will share our problems together, pray for one another and also force her to smell my smelly boaster(Jane) which i never wash it for 14years! Wakaka! I think my fish will die instantly if I throw it into the aquarium! hehe...I will also make sure she will give me a good night kiss before I sleep! =) hehe... After this post, I think my friends will never dare to have sleepover at my place anymore...

Belle... I really appreciate you for being my good friend and my sister in Christ... Be strong and courage for the Lord is with you... I am hoping to see the day when God answer your prayers just like how He has answer mine! He will bring you out from the shadow and you will able to serve Him and shine for Him in more ways... Yesterday, the topic we have learned in the cg is about praying with psalm... this is the psalm that I wrote during the bible study...It is a challenge for me to lead the cg and most of the time I feel like giving up...and just stay at my comfort zone...

Yesterday is been a really hard time for me... I keep telling myself to take this as a training ground so that in future I will continue grow and able to serve and glorify Him in more ways! Everyone loves to stay in their comfort zone but sometimes we have to learn to take one step out and letting God to change and mould you in order to grow...

Just like a nugget of gold taken from the stream, it needs to be refined and purified in the fire before emerging as a pure substance... It is the same concept of our life... Though the process is hard and painful but with God's grace and mercy, He will bring us through...

Therefore, learn to surrender to Him and rely on His strength for He is our faithful Father and His love never fails...This songs remind me that how much that I have change after I accepted God in my life...I have experience His love and transformation when the time I accepted Christ into my life... I hope you will experience it one day...
